Shoes
Maison Margiela’s characteristic shoes are emblems in their own right. Designed by Creative Director John Galliano, the seasonal shoe collections consistently evolve the classic codes of the house while pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship. With its iconic split-toe, the house’s trademark Tabi silhouette is interpreted across styles, along with new adaptations of the hallmark Replica sneakers. Proposals reimagine the tropes of shoe-making in leather or mixed materials: flats traverse trainers, ballerinas, sandals, loafers, derbies and brogues, while heels manifest in pumps, mules, Mary-Janes, and boots expressed with platforms and block or chunky heels.
