Herringbone Wool Zip Jacket

Wool herringbone jacket with a deep V-neckline and full-length central zip closure, created using the assemblage technique taking inspiration from the iconic camionneur knit style. A garment dye with vintage worn effect is applied to the finished garment, creating a soft, lived-in look where each piece is unique. Contrasting black ribbed-knit collar insert at the raw-edge neckline, with snap-press studs and ribbed-knit cuffs. Two front pockets. Our four white stitches appear at the back; the opposite of a label.

Assemblage: Disparate materials, garments and references are brought together to form a new composition. Their original identities remain visible within the finished object. The resulting tension between elements becomes part of the design.
