This cardigan is framed by contrast, with appliqué patches that resemble the reverse side of delicately embroidered fabric. Vertical stitch lines mirror the inside of a garment, aligning with the Maison’s décortiqué approach. Maison Margiela’s signature, the four stitches, appear at the back; the opposite of a label.
