This bag interprets the Maison’s concept of unconscious glamour through a softly rounded hobo silhouette. Crafted in quilted nappa leather, the padded construction echoes matelassé — the hand-stitched quilting tradition of Marseilles, France — first introduced with the Glam Slam in the SS18 show. Designed to be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder, it offers a relaxed yet considered form. At the front, Maison Margiela’s signature, the four stitches, appear; the opposite of a label.
