    Maison Margiela’s packaging is founded in the core philosophies of the House. The optical white handles of carrier bags appear frayed to evoke the trace of time as an evolution of the house’s original anonymous fabric totes.

Essentials in the Maison Margiela wardrobe, timeless bodysuits in black and nudes serve as underpinnings for the construction of looks, while t-shirts – regular, oversized or adorned with graphics and logos – are staples in the house’s genetics. Designed by Creative John Galliano, day and evening tops – including blouses, bustiers, hoodies, rollnecks, turtlenecks and polo tees – are informed by ideas developed in the haute couture atelier.
