Maison Margiela Line 2
A Cultural Dialogue
Introducing Maison Margiela Line 2, a project rooted in unexpected connections and creative dialogue between fashion and culture engrained in the house’s genetics.

At its core, Line 2 will foster cultural exchange between two individuals from distinct disciplines, illustrating how fashion, art, music, and culture exist in constant conversation.
The first instalment manifests in an art installation conceived as a creative dialogue between visual artist Heemin Chung and sound artist Joyul. The pair have created an immersive installation inspired by the house’s Autumn-Winter 2025 Collection theme exploring traces of memory and transformation.
Their collaborative work is titled Elsewhere, Rhema, Open Torso, where they blur the boundaries between human-made space and wild nature. Through video and sound, both artists are challenged- utilising unfamiliar mediums they transform the familiar setting into a metaphorical jungle.
The installation will be displayed at the Maison’s flagship store in the Hannam district in Seoul from September 3rd to Sept 28th.
