Maison Margiela brings its 2024 Artisanal Collection to Tokyo with an expansive exhibition and a series of temporary features in November 2024.Staged above the Tokyo boutique in Ebisu, a multi-faceted post-mortem of the haute couture collection will dissect in detail and peel back the layers of its original creations in a format imagined by Creative Director John Galliano. Visitors will be accompanied by a comprehensive audio guide to the showcase recorded by John Galliano.Likewise, the window of the Maison Margiela Omotesando boutique will feature one of the looks from the show from 18 October. At Dover Street Market Ginza, window installations devoted to the collection, created in collaboration with the renowned manga artist Tite Kubo, will be on display from 26 October until 24 November. Additionally, the dedicated display space on its 3rd floor will introduce a ‘bookshelf’ curated in the spirit of the 2024 Artisanal Collection and inspired by John Galliano’s research for the 2024 Artisanal Collection.
