"Ori", to fold. The iconic Japanese bag dates back to the AW09 collection, created following a trip to Japan, and inspired by the traditional Japanese technique of origami applied onto fabric. Originally medium, the bag has found new forms and sizes in a variety of fabrics since its debut a decade ago, however maintaining its organic and simple feel. The buttons on the edges, another acquired trait of the origami inspiration, allow for the accessory to change shape, hinting also at the Maison's deconstructionist design code.
